Role-Playing
I was quite a late starter to roleplaying, although I wanted to play for many years, I couldn’t encourage any of my friends to play too. It wasn’t until I was grown up and moved away that I met some people that played weekly. Expressing my interest, they let me join their group, and I’ve been playing since… that was back in 2001.
I started out playing D&D 3rd Edition, and played for a long time. In fact it became our default game of play when we weren’t playing anything else. Although D&D is a fun game, I prefer my games with more role than roll.
I’ve also played and enjoyed Torg, which is a superbly fun game, Call of Cthulhu, which has an amazing background.
We’ve recently finished a Cyberpunk 2020 campaign, unsuccessfully, and are now play Cthulhu again.
I’m looking at reffing my own game sometime in the next year!
